Indianapolis-based Laibe Corp. Inc. has landed a $10.6 million military contract. The U.S. Department of Defense says the deal involves production of water well completion kits and other items. The drilling equipment manufacturer is slated to complete the work in November 2015.

Laibe Corp., Inc., Indianapolis, Ind., was awarded a $10,619,010 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for procurement of water well completion kits and ancillary consumable items. Work location will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 13, 2015. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with two bids received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
