The Evansville-based Kunkel Group Inc. is introducing its $10 million high-end apartment complex in the Vanderburgh County city. Market Street Living features up to 75 apartments primarily targeted at those 55 and older.

Evansville, Ind. -- The Kunkel Group is proud to introduce, “Market Street Living,“ a senior living community located in downtown Evansville. The grand opening will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting event open to the public on Thursday, November 8th at 1:00pm. A public open house will be held on Friday, November 9th from 11:00am- 2:00pm.
The Kunkel Group, Inc., an Evansville based development company, has completed a $10.2M renovation of the former Liederkranz Maennerchor building at 304 Market Street that includes 40,000SF of new construction and now stands proudly at the corner of Court and Third Street. At capacity, Market Street Living will have between 60-75 apartments and will add 20-30 full and part time jobs to the community.
Market Street Living, the newest senior living facility in downtown Evansville is a concrete response to the high demand for residential living downtown. Market Street Living offers studios, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. The apartments boast unmatched finishes, elegant dining with a seasonally inspired freshly prepared menu, and a level of service and community that will prove to be the finest in the Evansville market.
