Inside INdiana Business has learned a national conference set for later this year is expected to attract hundreds of startup entrepreneurs and help "shift perspectives" about Indianapolis as a tech hotbed. Verge is the main force behind PowderKeg, which has been in the planning stages for three years. In a Studio(i) interview, Verge President and Founder Matt Hunckler says the event can be a game-changer for the technology movement in Indiana.
PowderKeg is scheduled to be held October 17-19 in downtown Indianapolis and at DeveloperTown.
It will include a Battle of the Startups and numerous opportunities for entrepreneurs from throughout the country to connect.
The initial event will be limited to 500 attendees.
