Bank CIO to Speak at TechPoint Event

Indianapolis, Ind. -- TechPoint, Indiana’s technology growth initiative, is bringing the Chief Investment Officer of Silicon Valley Bank’s Asset Management business, Joe Morgan, to Indianapolis to deliver a keynote address on the economy’s impact on the innovation sector during the 14th annual Innovation Summit & EXPO presented by Comcast Business Services.

Morgan, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), works with a team of credit analysts and portfolio managers who set and execute investment strategy for all of SVB Asset Management’s client investments. Morgan has more than 18 years of financial markets experience ranging from portfolio management to strategic consulting, and he is widely sought out for his commentary on issues affecting the economy and investment markets.

Morgan is one of three keynote speakers being featured at the day-long conference and exhibition being held October 30, at the Indiana Convention Center. Best-selling author, entrepreneur and marketing pioneer Seth Godin will deliver a keynote luncheon address followed by a Q&A session with the audience. Among Godin’s 14 best-sellers, Permission Marketing (1999) was instrumental in the creation and development of several Indiana-based software as a service companies. TechPoint expects to announce a third keynote speaker soon.

In addition to keynote addresses by Morgan and Godin, Innovation Summit will feature presentations by more than a dozen other thought leaders in the Rapid-Fire Theatre, and Innovation EXPO display booths will showcase the latest breakthroughs and developments from Indiana startups, universities, service providers and established companies alike.
