Colts Confident of Blackout-Free Season

The head of ticket sales for the Indianapolis Colts says he "certainly believes" all the team's home games will sell out and be on local television this season. During an interview set to air this weekend on Inside INdiana Business Television, Vice President of Ticket Operations Larry Hall says 96 percent of seats have been sold "for some time," and believes a focus on group sales will help fill the gap.

Hall says the team has launched a new mobile application aimed at bringing "some of the at-home TV experience to the stadium." The Colts are hoping rookie quarterback Andrew Luck can help boost ticket sales as well. The team had season tickets available for the first time since 2003. Only 87 percent of last season's ticket holders renewed their tickets, which allowed the team to run through its waiting list of about 10,000 people. The Colts went 2-14 last season and released longtime quarterback Peyton Manning.
