Former Ivy Tech Chancellor to Lead New Jersey School

Former Ivy Tech Community College Central Indiana Region Chancellor Kaye Walter has been named president of New Jersey's largest community college. The Record newspaper reports Walter will take over Bergen Community College.

Walter left Ivy Tech last month. The school has hired Kathleen Lee, who had been serving on an interim basis, to lead its largest region.

Walter came to Ivy Tech from Valencia Community College in Florida, where she spent five years as executive vice president and chief learning officer.
