[UPDATED] Report: Hundreds of Jobs Headed to Madison County

An Ohio-based auto parts manufacturer is expected to bring hundreds of jobs to Indiana. Our partners at the The Herald Bulletin report the company will be announced today during an announcement at the Flagship Enterprise Park. The company is expected to create 325 jobs.

The newspaper reports city interim economic development director Greg Winkler discussed the project during an Anderson Redevelopment Commission meeting Monday.

He did not name the company, but stated it will make a $21.5 million investment.

Company executives, local officials and Governor Mitch Daniels are scheduled to attend tomorrow morning's announcement.
