LIDS Extends IUPUI Deal

Indianapolis, Ind. -- LIDS Team Sports, the wholesale team dealer division of Indianapolis-based LIDS Sports Group, has reached an agreement with the IUPUI Athletics Department for a continuation of its previous deal for five years. Through the agreement, Nike will maintain its status as the official outfitter of all student athletes participating in the 16 varsity sports teams at IUPUI. The initial deal was signed in October 2009.

“We have had a great experience with Nike through LIDS Team Sports, and we are excited to continue to build upon that relationship,” said Mike Moore, IUPUI director of athletics. “The Swoosh, which outfits our athletes head-to-toe, is well-known by student athletes to be second-to-none in regards to quality and innovation – two key elements for any athletic department.”
