Forbes: Bloomington a Top Retirement Location

Bloomington is one of Forbes magazine's 25 Best Places To Retire In 2012. The publication cites the Monroe County city's affordable housing prices and low crime rates.

Forbes took other factors into account such as taxes, weather and opportunities for seniors to stay active.

Bloomington was one of only a handful of "cold weather" areas that made the list.

Other cities include Pittsburgh, Albuquerque and Ashville, North Carolina.
