An Indiana fuel company is clarifying its recent deal with Wisconsin-based U.S. Ventures Inc. Trueblood Oil Co. in Farmersburg has announced the sale of its "Branded Retail Gasoline Business" to the Wisconsin company. Trueblood says the transaction will allow it to focus on lubricants and industrial/wholesale fuels.
It is not selling its wholesale fuel business.
A newspaper in Wisconsin reported Trueblood was selling the branded wholesale fuel supply business.
Many news outlets, including Inside INdiana Business, attributed the initial reports about the deal to the Appleton Post-Crescent.
The Sullivan County company e-mailed a news release to Inside INdiana Business Friday evening to clear up any confusion about the sale.
