One Southern Indiana has unveiled the finalists for its 2012 Business Awards. The honors are designed to recognize economic and civic contributions by companies in the region. Winners will be announced next week.

One Southern Indiana is proud to announce the finalists selected for the 2012 Business Awards. In its 24th year, the annual Business Awards event is a prestigious program acknowledging the "Best of the Best" in business, those who have worked hard to be the most successful entrepreneurs and business professionals in Southern Indiana and the Louisville Metro Area. The local economy has benefited greatly from their innovative thinking as well as their ongoing civic contributions. The event will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Huber's Orchard and Winery in Borden, Indiana.
The finalists were chosen from an independent panel of judges and were selected based on criteria of business history, community involvement, response to adversity, newly-created opportunities and innovation in products or services. This year's finalists (in no particular order) include:
