Anderson's interim economic development director is laying out plans for job growth. Greg Winkler has told city council members three new employers and one current operation are expecting to expand in Madison County, adding a total of 100 jobs.

Anderson has already tallied two proposals this year from businesses intending to grow.
Indianapolis-based call center operator TeleServices Direct announced plans for 180 more jobs by 2015. Ertl Enterprises, an Anderson-based manufacturer pledged around 15 jobs as they expand operations in the former General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) plant.
