Cook Group Marks One Year Since Founder's Passing
This weekend marks one year since the passing of Bloomington-based Cook Group Inc. Founder Bill Cook. Chairman Steve Ferguson says operations have gone well in the past year, in large part because the Cook family had a solid plan for the company's future. In an interview set to air this weekend on Inside INdiana Business Television, Ferguson also discusses two bills on Capitol Hill designed to repeal the proposed medical device tax.

Cook is one of several companies supporting the bills in Washington, D.C.
Ferguson says if they fail, there will be an impact on several Indiana device companies.
He adds that even with a move of production outside the U.S., Cook Group would not lay off any workers here.
