There appears to be a shakeup at the Indiana State University Foundation. The organization's board of directors has accepted the resignation of Foundation President Gene Crume. Board Chairman R. Brent Beeler is serving as interim president.
The organization says Crume is stepping down to pursue other opportunities.
He started with the foundation in 2007 after serving as executive vice president of Midland Lutheran College since 2003.
Crume was the first individual to serve as the president of the foundation under a new structure that more clearly defines the fundraising organization as a separate entity from the university.
