News Release
Indianapolis, Ind. -- FirstPerson, an Indianapolis-based employee benefits consulting firm, announces today the addition of human resources consulting services into its comprehensive strategies for growing businesses.
The expansion follows FirstPerson’s purchase of the general HR consulting division of FlashPoint, an Indianapolis-based talent management consulting firm. With the purchase, FirstPerson will now offer comprehensive employer services, including HR assessments, employee handbooks, policy and procedure manuals, employee relations advisory services and onsite manager/generalist support.
To lead its HR consulting services, FirstPerson announces the appointment of Deb Hunter, SPHR, as an advisor. Hunter most recently served as a consultant for FlashPoint providing general HR consulting. Throughout her career, Deb has served in various manager and director roles where she successfully developed, implemented, and managed all areas of HR.
FlashPoint, an Inc. Magazine 500 | 5000 recipient and Indiana Companies to Watch winner, will continue to focus on talent development, organizational performance and compensation in mid- to large-sized companies.
“FlashPoint has long been a solid partner with FirstPerson, and this purchase offers a seamless transition that will allow us to serve customers better,” said Bryan Brenner, CEO of FirstPerson. “HR consulting fits perfectly with our services to help small businesses reach their full potential. Deb’s HR background complements our trusted team of advisors and goes to the core of who we are in building a culture of helping customers solve real problems.”
“These services complement the benefit advisory services we currently provide. The combined services allow customers to focus on their core business,” Russ Stuart, advisor and principal at FirstPerson, added.
“Through years of working with FirstPerson, we knew that we could trust them to deliver the same high-level of service that we have become known for,” said Andrea Cranfill, cofounder and principal of FlashPoint. “We are thrilled that Deb will play an integral role in transitioning this part of our business to FirstPerson, allowing us to focus on our core practice areas of talent development, organizational performance, and compensation.”
