Indianapolis, Ind. -- The Indiana Pacers, the Indiana Fever and Pacers Sports & Entertainment will host the 12th annual Sports & Entertainment Career Fair, presented by CareerBuilder.com, on Thurs., Mar. 29 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Sports & Entertainment Career Fair provides an opportunity for individuals to find information and opportunities regarding internships, full and part-time positions, and volunteer opportunities with local and regional organizations that have strong ties to the sports and entertainment industry.

The Career Fair will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. with representatives from more than 25 sports and entertainment related teams and businesses on hand to talk about potential employment opportunities. The Pacers and Fever will be joined by the Chicago Fire, Chicago Sky, the NBA, the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Sport Graphics, Career Builder, USA Football, Detroit Pistons, and many others.

"This is the perfect event for college seniors and others that are interested in a career in professional sports,” said Pacers Senior Vice President, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Todd Taylor. “Participants will have the opportunity to interact with industry executives and learn what it takes to land a job in sports."

In addition to the Career Fair, attendees will have an opportunity to engage in an “Inside the Front Office” seminar from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. which will feature an inside look into the career paths and day-to-day operations with Pacers Sports & Entertainment and NBA Front Office Executives in Basketball, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Broadcast, Human Resources, and Event Management.

Admission to the career fair is only $45 and includes two tickets to the Pacers vs. Washington Wizards game later that night, plus two tickets to the Indiana Fever Opening Night game slated for May 19. For $60, attendees can attend the career fair, get tickets to the Pacers game and Fever game and attend the exclusive “Inside the Front Office” seminar.
