Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne will hold an event next month focusing on science, technology, engineering and math education. The CTE/STEM Expo aims to demonstrate a connection between STEM education and successful careers.

Fort Wayne, Ind.—Students in elementary, middle, or high school, as well as those already in college, are invited to attend the Second Annual CTE/STEM Expo, Thursday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Walb Student Union Ballroom at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).
Students will find out how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
(STEM) can lead to successful careers. They’ll learn about the academic support services offered by the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, and they can discover IPFW’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
Industry representatives from CTE/STEM fields will be highlighted at this year’s Expo. IPFW academic departments will also host hands-on demonstrations in areas such as Nursing, Physics, and Dental Laboratory Technology.
