Smoking Ban Bill Moves Forward

The Indiana House could hold a final vote on a statewide smoking ban today. Changes to the bill have been approved that exempt casinos entirely. Also, bars and taverns would have a year-and-half to adapt to the new regulations.

Our partners at the Evansville Courier & Press say other changes approved Friday include an exemption for the state's only cigar manufacturer.

Also, the legislation would allow fraternal clubs to vote on whether they want to become smoke free.
