E-On Makes First Wind Farm Payments
E-on Climate and Renewables has made its first payments to Tipton and Madison counties as part of a plan for the Wildcat Wind Farm project. The deal calls for payments of $300,000 per year to each county for the next four years.

The $400 million project spans Tipton, Madison, Grant and Howard Counties.
The 200-megawatt wind farm is set to include between 80 and 125 wind turbines and cover an estimated 150 acres.
The company currently operates 12 wind farms in Texas, New York and Pennsylvania.
