Officials in Austin are moving forward with an $8 million gateway project. The aim is to connect residential areas of the community with the commercial district. Indianapolis-based The Englehart Group has been named communications consultant for the initiative.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Englehart Group has been selected by the City of Austin, Indiana, as Communications Consultant for its $8 million “Austin Gateway” project. Austin is a community of approximately 5,000 people located in Southern Indiana’s Scott County.
“The ‘Austin Gateway’ project will connect residential parts of the downtown community with the commercial district, creating an integrated community that affords a unique opportunity for recreation and relaxation,” said Blair Englehart, President of The Englehart Group. “The project will bring together the area’s abundant natural resources with the lifestyle of this close-knit community to provide an enjoyable, environmentally friendly experience for all of its citizens.”
The Englehart Group joins a number of other high-level firms that have been engaged to provide special expertise to this project. A+X serves as the project’s Design and Development Consultant. Production Requirements serves as Funding Consultant. And w/purpose serves as Planning Consultant.
