HALO Continues Home-Grown Investments

INDIANAPOLIS — HALO Capital Group, an angel investor network managed by TechPoint, has invested an undisclosed amount of venture capital in TinderBox, an Indianapolis-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup.

TinderBox provides a web-based solution that makes it easy for individuals and teams to create, manage, deliver, and track interactive proposals and business communications. Sales and marketing teams of all sizes have been able to streamline their document creation process, utilize rich media at the point of decision, and gain visibility into how prospects interact with their proposals.

HALO (Hoosier Angels Looking for Opportunities) is a group of successful Indiana entrepreneurs seeking to invest in up-and-coming companies, offering capital (typically within the range of $250,000 to $2 million) and management expertise to high-potential start-ups. HALO has invested $17.1 million in Indiana companies in the last 36 months.

Gravity Ventures, an Indiana-based angel capital fund, and eight individual angel investors also joined the financing round.

TinderBox allows users to manage all aspects of document creation including: writing, formatting, management, approvals, and tracking from within one simple interface. Larger teams can seamlessly integrate TinderBox into existing CRM solutions like Salesforce.com, optimizing their team’s workflows and decreasing their time to close new business. TinderBox currently has clients in 7 countries, supporting proposals and documents in 4 languages.
