With Hoosier businesses and consumers reeling from per gallon gasoline prices now north of $4, a Ball State University economist says the worst may be still ahead. In an interview that will air this weekend on Inside INdiana Business Television, Michael Hicks says it would not be surprising to see gas prices surge by another one dollar per gallon.
Hicks says surging gas prices are already resulting in higher prices on consumer products and predicts as prices continue to rise, Indiana's economic recovery will be slowed, or worse.
