Mira Awards' Finalists Selected
TechPoint has unveiled the list of finalists for its annual Mira Awards. Companies, schools and individuals competing for the state's top technology honors will make final presentations to independent judging panels Thursday and Friday. The winner in each category will be revealed in May.

INDIANAPOLIS — TechPoint, a statewide initiative to grow the technology sector, has announced the finalists for its 12th annual Mira Awards presented by BKD CPAs & Advisors. Finalists will deliver presentations and answer questions in person to one of five independent judging panels later this week. The winner in each category will be revealed at the Mira Awards Gala on May 7th.
TechPoint Mira Awards recognize excellence and achievement of Indiana’s outstanding technology industry performers and contributors, and focuses attention on the broader issue of the important role technology plays in Indiana’s economy.
“Narrowing down the field of nominees to just a handful of finalists in each category is always a difficult process for our judges,” said Jim Jay, president and CEO of TechPoint. “We have 32 subject matter experts with diverse backgrounds serving as judges and we are grateful that they value the Mira Awards and sacrifice a significant amount of time to the process.”

The 2011 Mira Award winners will be announced at an “Oscars-style” award ceremony being held Saturday, May 7, at the new JW Marriott Indianapolis. TechPoint will again honor past Mira Award winners and finalists attending the ceremony with a special “Winner’s Circle” VIP reception.
Individual tickets are available for purchase from TechPoint’s website. Take advantage of the special $175 early-bird ticket price before the individual ticket price goes up to $200 after April 12th.
