Congressman Steve Buyer (R-4) is planning his twelfth job fair in the past six years. The 2010 Hoosier Job Fair will be held July 19 at Jefferson High School in Lafayette. More than 13,000 people have attended the previous events hosted by the congressman.

Lafayette, IN— Congressman Steve Buyer (IN-04) will announce the 2010 Hoosier Job Fair on Monday, May 17, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. at the Greater Lafayette Commerce (formerly the Lafayette-West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce) building. This will be the Congressman’s 12th job fair in six years; the past 11 job fairs have had over 900 businesses participate, offered over 21,000 jobs, and have had over 13,000 attendees.
Partnering with the Congressman for Lafayette’s third Hoosier Job Fair is Lafayette Jefferson High School, Greater Lafayette Commerce, Tecumseh Area Partnership, and WorkOne. The 2010 Hoosier Job Fair will be held on Monday, July 19, 2010, in the Gymnasium of Lafayette Jefferson High School, 1801 S. 18th Street, and the doors will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Businesses may sign up by going to www.SteveBuyer.House.Gov or call 317-838-0404.
