U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will announce new federal funding for Indiana University during a visit to the IU School of Medicine Friday. She will be joined by National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins. The two will also recognize a major milestone in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act investment in science and biomedical research.

They will tour the Indiana University School of Medicine Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research and hold a news conference.
IU President Michael McRobbie and school of medicine Dean Dr. D. Craig Brater along with Congressman Andre Carson (D-7) are also expected to attend.
