About Coeus
Coeus Technology is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that specializes in antimicrobial technology. We provide a broad spectrum of applications which support wellness and prevention; our antimicrobial solutions are effective against a broad range of bacteria, virus, fungi, and algae and yeast.
Safe and healthy environments are vital to everyone, and finding sustainable solutions, to the most important health care challenges, is Coeus’ priority. Coeus Technology is committed to providing products that improve health and well-being. We strive to provide safe, effective and affordable antimicrobial technologies to manufacturers, consumers and ultimately end-users that need them.
How it Works
The active ingredient of the MonoFoil™ Technology is an organo-functional silane technology. Our product molecularly bonds to a treated substrate, thus making the entire material itself antimicrobial. It physically disrupts or “disembowels” the target organism’s cell membrane on contact. As well, each molecule maintains the permanent positive nitrogen (N+) charge which electrocutes all offending organisms on contact. Organisms can never become resistant to the MonoFoil Technology. This means that organisms do not metabolize the active and become resistant. Monofoil ™ permits no superbugs. Through extensive studies this colorless, odorless, and non-leaching technology was found to be safe and effective against a broad spectrum of germs.
MonoFoil™ Technology is a bio-static antimicrobial additive that is built into endless arrays of products providing elemental antimicrobial protection both inside the product and at the surface. This protection will not wash off or wear away, giving it permanent antimicrobial product surface protection. The MonoFoil™ Technology will provide long lasting defense with verifiable time frames of one month through permanent (useful life) protection. We are able to tailor make the antimicrobial product specific to a customer’s needs.
