Indy Tennis Championships to Announce Buyer
Organizers of the Indianapolis Tennis Championships already have a buyer for the tournament. A news conference will be held today to announce the purchaser of the event's Association of Tennis Professionals membership. That sale is expected to lead to the tournament leaving Indianapolis.

Organizers confirmed this week they were left with no option but to sell the ATP affiliation due to declining ticket sales and despite efforts with multiple partners and sponsors to formulate a plan to keep the event in the state's largest city.
Terms of the sale are being kept confidential, but the buyer of the ATP membership will be disclosed tomorrow.
