Indy Health Expo is a two-day health, beauty and fitness event, taking place Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. This exclusive event is looking to collaborate with businesses in central Indiana to endorse Indy's only health expo designed to inspire and encourage individuals to embrace a life of health, beauty, wellness and fitness.

Indy Health Expo allows exhibitors and sponsors the opportunity to exhibit & promote to a large segment of the population. The purchasing power of health, beauty and fitness consumers is an ever-growing market. Attendance for the show is expected to be thousands during the two-day event.

After appraisal of the startling health statistics that plague Indiana, the organizers of Indy Health Expo saw a void in the Indianapolis market for a health expo, (especially in the winter months) that allows the public a chance to learn and experience what Indianapolis has to offer in the emerging and ever-growing health, beauty and fitness market.

The creators of Indy Health Expo felt that there was a need to educate our community of the great resources that
Indianapolis and its surrounding counties have available that offer an array of health and fitness services and products, natural and alternative solutions, advanced medicine research, education, nutrition, exercise and ultimately informs the public of the lifelong benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

Indy Health Expo will feature 200 exhibitors and a wide variety of demonstrations, seminars and speakers, including a celebrity appearance on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 1pm by renowned pediatrician Dr. James Sears, better known as "Dr. Jim," from the popular television show "The Doctors" (which can be seen weekdays on WISH-TV Channel 8). Dr. Jim has been featured on Parenting.com's "Ask the Experts," and has written for Parenting and BabyTalk magazine. His medical advice has been featured on several networks and he is co-author of the book The Healthiest Kid in the Neighborhood which will be the topic of his speech.
