Green Fest Set For Indianapolis

Indianapolis, IN — November 16, 2009 — Indianapolis’ first premier green and eco-friendly expo is scheduled to take place Friday - Sunday, March 26th-28th, 2010 at the Toyota Expo Hall on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The purpose of the event is to take green mainstream with the aim of informing, educating and connecting businesses with consumers in our communities to help them ‘BE...a little greener every day.”

Attendance over the three days is expected to be at 10,000+. The festival will open avenues for greater awareness of the environmental resources available in Indianapolis and the surrounding communities. It will encourage people from diverse backgrounds to connect in a fun and family-friendly environment with exhibits, delicious food, and interactive games for kids. The event will host passionate individuals, green businesses, and nonprofit groups who are making an environmental and healthful impact for generations to come.

Green Fest Expos, Inc., organizor and promotor of the event, is founded by grassroots, eco-friendly business owners. Through listening to what eco-friendly, green, and sustainable businesses want, Green Fest Expos created a timely and cost-effective event which will not only drive the green economy, but will take green mainstream directly to the homes and businesses of Indiana.

Green Fest Expos is currently in the process of securing sponsorships, exhibitors, and vendors for the three day festival. There are various levels of sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities available, including one called “Getting in the Zone.” By setting up Zone areas such as Reduce It, Recycle It, Re-Use it, etc., exhibitors can help festival goers easily identify their product or service at a glance. Zones can also be sponsored by a particular exhibitor.
