Press Release
Indianapolis, IN— Effective on December 1, 2009, Dr. Andrew Warrington will assume the role of President of Indianapolis based Peerless Pump Company. Dr. Warrington will assume the role held since 2003 by Dean Douglas. Mr. Douglas leaves Peerless to assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of a non-competing company.
Dr. Warrington has held many positions within the company including service, engineering, and most recently as the Vice President of International Business Development.
Peerless has experienced double-digit compound annual growth since Mr. Douglas took the helm in 2003. “Through Dean’s leadership Peerless weathered some potentially devastating challenges and the nearly three-hundred employees based in Indianapolis as well as the more than four-hundred worldwide owe Dean a tremendous debt of gratitude,” Warrington commented.
Since being acquired by Danish pump giant Grundfos, Peerless has continued to outpace the market with a compound annual growth rate of more than 10%. “Our commitment to our upstream and downstream business partners is what has allowed us to grow and those things will not change.” Warrington added.
