Burton Requesting More Businesses Register For Job Fair

Indiana Representative Dan Burton (R-05) is looking for 11 more businesses that are hiring to join his job fair this weekend. So far, 34 companies have signed up for Saturday's Help Indiana Regain Employment (HIRE) Job Fair at Indiana University in Kokomo. Burton is hoping this event will top the turnout of his summer job fair, where 40 businesses attracted 1,200 Hoosiers.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – A total of 34 hiring businesses have registered for Rep. Dan Burton's Fall "Help Indiana Regain Employment" (H.I.R.E.) Job Fair. The event will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday, November 14th at Indiana University in Kokomo. Rep. Burton is seeking at least 11 more hiring businesses to participate, which would top the turnout of his summer job fair, where 40 businesses with hundreds of job openings attracted 1,200 Hoosier job seekers.

Hiring businesses or job seekers who wish to participate should visit his website at burton.house.gov.
