A report from CareerBuilder.com says Indianapolis is one of the best cities in the country in which to find a job. The Web site says Indiana's largest city is 8th among the nation's top metro areas with the most job postings. The employment Web site says many of the Indianapolis postings are for the life sciences and medical device sectors.

The Kansas City metro area tops the CareerBuilder.com rankings with openings in the aviation, transporation and energy industries.
Washington, D.C. is ranked second. CareerBuilder.com says the area's job postings are mostly in the defense, government, nonprofit and law sectors.
CareerBuilder says it ranked the top metro areas with the most job postings on the site between January and October 2009.
