 Casino Association of Indiana Executive Director Mike Smith tells our partners at Network Indiana/WIBC a study calculates a Toledo casino would cost Hooier Park one-seventh of its business.

The outcome of a vote today in Ohio could have a signficant impact on gaming in Indiana. Residents in the Buckeye state are being asked to approve casino projects in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo and Columbus. A recent report from Indiana's Legislative Services Agency suggests the number of people going to casinos in the southeast part of Indiana could drop by as much as 38 percent if the gaming venues are approved in Ohio.
