INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - The Indianapolis chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-Indianapolis) will honor women business owners and their advocates at its sixth annual awards and holiday luncheon, Celebrating Women presented by American Family Insurance. The 2009 luncheon is Wednesday, December 16, at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, 350 W. Maryland Street, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with one hour of networking beforehand.
NAWBO-Indy presenting the 2009 Visionary Awards - Avatar of the Year, Indianapolis Choice, NAWBO-Indy Member of the Year and Woman Business Owner of the Year - to those who have made significant impact on the success of women business owners during 2009.
The keynote speaker is Carol Gardner, the creator of Zelda Wisdom, Inc., a multi-million dollar international business, featuring Carol's charismatic English bulldog, Zelda. With last year's attendance near 1000, the 2009 event is expected to sell out. Stacy Shew, NAWBO-Indy's Executive Director, states, "With each passing year, this event continues to build on the previous, in enthusiasm and attendance. Sharing in the accomplishments of women who dare to dream, change the world and fashion a path to the future, these are invaluable gifts."
Seats for the luncheon, priced at $60 for members and $70 for non-members, are available for purchase through Thursday, Dec. 4, 2009. In addition to individual seats, tables of 10 may be purchased for $800 (price includes table signage). After December 4, all tickets will be priced at $80, while tables of 10 will be priced at $1,000. To purchase seats or tables, visit www.NAWBOindy.org.
