Central Indiana Library Schedules Lighthearted Fundraiser

The Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation will host a fundraiser later this month featuring Hoosier comedian Dave Dugan. The September 24 event will be held at the Carmel High School auditorium. The Carmel High School Improv group will also perform.

Carmel, Ind. -- The Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation announces a new fundraising event that is sure to get laughs. Library Laughfest will feature comedian Dave Dugan, with special guests from the Carmel High School Improv group, on Thursday, September 24 at the Carmel High School auditorium, 520 East Main Street. The event will emceed by Julia Moffitt, Channel 13 news anchor.

The event will take place from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. Advanced sale tickets are $10 each, $15 the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased at the Friends Bookstore in the Carmel Clay Public Library, Bub's Café, and Bub's Burgers & Ice Cream. Tickets can also be purchased in advance by calling (317) 814-3905 for pick-up on event night at the lay-away desk.

Dave Dugan has impeccable comedic timing. He is hilarious, imaginative and a stellar performer who has been enjoyed by audiences around the country through his numerous appearances at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles and television appearances that include HBO, Comedy Central, Fox, VH-1 and The Arsenio Hall Show.
