Press Release
Elkhart, Ind. -- Amidst reports of unemployment and plant closures, the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce has assembled a traveling road show to highlight the positive aspects of the local economy.
“We don’t want to downplay the challenges people are facing, but at the same time we want to remind people of the power of our economic engine,” said Kyle Hannon, VP of Public Policy for the Chamber.
The Chamber is planning speeches to service clubs and other organizations to highlight the good news in the Elkhart economy. Elkhart’s logistical advantages, low cost of business, and low cost of living are among the reasons companies find the area attractive. The presentation will note several area companies that are successful, despite the economic slowdown.
Any club or organization interested in a presentation of Elkhart’s good news, should contact Kyle Hannon at the Chamber, 574-293-1531 or khannon@elkhart.org.
