Indianapolis-based National Lodging & Leisure (NLL) opened a new $10 million, 113-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Greensburg. The hotel anchors the nine acre, $18 million Greensburg Station commercial mixed-use project being developed by NLL. It is also located just east of the new $550 million Honda Motor Co. (NYSE: HMC) plant.

Indianapolis-based National Lodging & Leisure has announced the opening of the new 113-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Greensburg, Indiana. The hotel is owned by GS Lodging Venture, LLC, which was formed by Jack Moran, President of National Lodging & Leisure and Street Corner Group. Mr. Moran has over 30 years experience in commercial development and currently has new similar select-service hotel projects in development throughout the country. The hotel anchors the 9-acre, $18 million Greensburg Station commercial mixed-use project being developed by NLL.
The new hotel is located at the US 421 & I-74 interchange, just east of the new $550 million Honda Motor Company assembly plant in Greensburg slated to open in September.
Completed within 11 months from groundbreaking, possibly a new Hampton chain record, the $10 million Greensburg Hampton features the latest Hampton Inn enhancements including the new “Perfect Mix” lobby and dining area and Hampton’s new “Be Fit” fitness center. The hotel offers standard king and queen rooms, large king studios and family suites. Other amenities include the complementary “On the House” hot breakfast, indoor pool and whirlpool; free high-speed Internet access, executive business center, and “Cloud Nine”, The Hampton Bed Experience. The property is also the only hotel in the area to offer 32” HDTV flat screens as standard in all guest rooms.
Featuring over 2,500 square feet of meeting and function space, a private board room and hospitality suites, the hotel can accommodate groups up to 225 people. Another very unique feature of the hotel is the dedicated parking area for buses and motor homes, which include hook-ups.

Street Corner Group of Indianapolis, an affiliate of National Lodging & Leisure served as the developer for the hotel, CPM Construction of St. Joe, Michigan was the general contractor, and Precept Design of Indianapolis was responsible for all design work Financing for the project was provided by the Indianapolis office of Geneva Capital Group and Indianapolis-based Blue Tip Investments arranged the equity component of the project funding.
