[UPDATED] Defender Direct Moves Ahead with Indy Expansion Plans
Indianapolis Economic Development Executive Director Jeb Conrad says Conrad says Defender Direct is finishing a deal on office space.Indianapolis-based Defender Direct has taken another step toward adding 300 jobs at its company headquarters. The Metropolitan Development Commission has approved a ten-year tax abatement for the technology distributor and service provider. It currently employs 230 in Indianapolis. Executive Director of Indianapolis Economic Development Jeb Conrad says for every dollar the company is saving by phasing in the taxes on new investment, the city is gaining $15 in new revenue.
