INDIANAPOLIS – Jiffy Lube of Indiana, owned by franchisee Steve Sanner, recently purchased four Master Xpress Lube centers in central Indiana. The new centers are currently operating and providing Jiffy Lube services to customers.
The sixth-largest Jiffy Lube franchisee in the United States, Sanner continues to lead the quick-lube industry in the Indianapolis area. With the addition of these new locations, Jiffy Lube of Indiana now runs 47 service centers throughout the state.
The purchase of the four Master Lube locations has been in the works for about a year. Other Master Xpress Lube centers in the area have ceased operations.
“We’re always looking to reach customers in areas where they may not yet have the opportunity to receive our services,” said Sanner. “These locations will be renovated to offer convenient, quality service to new customers.”
Two of the new Jiffy Lube service centers are located in Indianapolis, one on east Washington St. and another on north Keystone Ave. A third location is in Carmel on east 151st St., and the other is in Avon on U.S. Highway 36.
If able to meet Jiffy Lube hiring standards, employees of the previous Master Xpress Lube locations were given an opportunity to apply for positions in the new Jiffy Lube centers.
Jiffy Lube International, located on more than 2,200 of the busiest street corners in America, is synonymous with convenient car care. The company pioneered the fast oil change industry in 1979 and today serves in excess of 30 million customers each year. Jiffy Lube of Indiana has been locally owned and operated by Steve and Jennifer Sanner since 1985 and has 47 service centers throughout the state.
