Press Release

Chicago, Ill. -- A new Dunkin’ Donuts, the first of what is expected to be approximately 80 new restaurants in the Indianapolis market over the next six years, is scheduled to open Monday, Sept. 10, at 1305 Range Line Road in Carmel. The restaurant will be owned and operated by the Miracle Restaurant Group, headquartered in Mandeville, Louisiana.

On Sept. 24, another new Dunkin’ Donuts, owned by local developers Ken Wright and Mike McCracken, will open at 7015 Kentucky Ave. in Indianapolis. Two more Dunkin’ Donuts will open in the city before the end of the year.

Each of the new Dunkin’ Donuts will include the restaurant chain’s traditional menu of beverages, breakfast sandwiches and baked goods as well as select lunch and dinner items. The restaurants also will feature a warmer, updated image and a new logo that contemporizes the current Dunkin’ Donuts logo.

At 11 a.m. on Sept. 10, the Carmel restaurant will celebrate its arrival to the city with a special “Running of the Cups” tribute to local organizations that serve the community and a local re-naming of its popular Caramel Iced and Hot Latte beverages to CARMEL Latte. A portion of the first week’s sales of CARMEL Iced and Hot Lattes will be donated to Special Olympics Indiana. Local city officials, Special Olympics Indiana representatives, Dunkin’ Donuts corporate officers and the Carmel High School Pep Band are scheduled to participate in the special ribbon-cutting event.

The Miracle Restaurant Group currently owns and operates 46 Arby’s restaurants in Indiana, Illinois and Colorado. The company plans to open 25 Dunkin’ Donuts in the Indianapolis market.

“We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to bring the delicious products of Dunkin’ Donuts to Indianapolis,” said Don Moore, President and CEO of Miracle Restaurant Group. “The business purpose of our restaurant group is simple: to sow seeds of opportunity to our employees and to share the blessing of hospitality to our guests and the communities in which we do business. We eagerly look forward to the opening of our first Dunkin’ Donuts in Carmel.
