Our partners at the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette report that St. Joseph Hospital has announced a $6 million plan to upgrade Regional Burn Center and Regional Wound Center. Construction on the project is expected to be complete by May 2008.

The combined Burn and Wound Care Center will be located in an 18,000 square-foot space, with 12 private rooms, 12 exam rooms, a waiting area and an education room.
Dr. John Mancoll says the St. Joseph Regional Burn Center boasts one of only two burn centers in the state. ![]()
Care Director Sheryle Mourey says the facility will have more patient rooms, including rooms designed specifically for children. ![]()
