The Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association (ICVA), representatives from the City of Indianapolis and other groups are planning to gather as soon as this afternoon to discuss how best to leverage the success of the Indianapolis Colts as they head to the Super Bowl.
ICVA Spokesman Bob Schultz says the groups are focused on how best to maximize the global publicity a Super Bowl can bring to the city.
Indianapolis continues to study a possible bid to host the 2011 Super Bowl, which can bring about a $1 billion economic impact to a host city.
Schultz says many NFL team owners, officials and others involved in the process were in town for last night's game and were taking notice of how the city can host a major event.
