May 30, 2012 News Release KOKOMO, Ind. Syndicate Sales Chairman Del Demaree, is pleased to announce the promotion of Laura Demaree Shinall to Vice President. Shinall’s involvement in the floral industry exceeds 30 years, and includes experience with retail and wholesale florist operations. During her career Shinall also developed and led two floral related businesses. She began with Syndicate Sales as an account executive and most recently was named Director of Marketing. She is approaching her 15th year on the Syndicate Sales Board of Directors and currently is a member of the American Floral Endowment Board of Trustees. The American Floral Endowment (AFE) is an independent non-profit organization that funds research and scholarships in floriculture and environmental horticulture. In addition, Shinall serves on the Society of American Florist’s Consumer Marketing Committee. The Society of American Florists is the leading organization representing more than 10,000 floral growers, wholesalers and retailers for over 125 years. A graduate of DePauw University, Shinall was an economics and psychology major.
