Kylie Veleta

Writer and Reporter

Kylie Veleta has joined Inside INdiana Business as the writer and reporter for the Life Sciences INdiana e-newsletter and INdiana Connections, a special e-newsletter for the Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics industry.

Kylie has previous experience in television news, working as a reporter for stations in Lexington, Kentucky, Evansville and Terre Haute. Her work earned her an Indiana Associated Press award. She has also been a freelance writer for clients including Indianapolis Woman magazine and Evansville Living magazine. Most recently, she served as copywriter in the marketing/creative area at Indianapolis-based The Finish Line, Inc., where her work encompassed all three of the company's store concepts: Finish Line, Man Alive and Paiva.

Kylie is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Ball State University. In her spare time, Kylie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, baby daughter, and chocolate labrador retriever. After living in several cities around the Midwest, she's glad to be living and working in her hometown of Indianapolis.
