Mayor Has Big Plans For One of City’s ‘Most Distinct Assets’

Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness has unveiled a multi-million plan to transform the last remaining plot of land along the 1,900-acre Geist Reservoir. The proposal for a 70-acre waterfront park calls for potential features including an amphitheater, public beach, boardwalk and fishing dock, as well as public access for non-motorized water craft like canoes, paddle boards and kayaks.
