Indianapolis will be home of the first U.S. technology and innovation hub for an India-based tech company with a global presence. Infosys announced plans earlier this month to create up to 2,000 jobs in central Indiana by 2022, but had not identified the location until Tuesday morning. During a news conference featuring Mayor Joe Hogsett and Governor Eric Holcomb, Infosys officials reiterated that Indiana’s talent pool and academic pipeline were major factors in the company’s decision.
