Organization Day: GOP, Dems Sharpening Focus

State legislative leaders in each chamber and both sides of the aisle are using Tuesday’s Organization Day to set the tone for what could be an eventful 2017 General Assembly. The Republicans will again have a super-majority in the House and Senate on a budget year that will also see GOP Governor-elect Eric Holcomb take the helm of the state.
