• Fairbanks Foundation Hires Three

    The Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation Inc. has added Kevin Kessinger (pictured), Alex Cohen and Scott Semester (pictured) to its staff. Kessinger joined the foundation as chief financial officer. Cohen has been named director of learning and evaluation.Semester joined the foundation as executive assistant.

    Bedford-based Radius Indiana has appointed Jeff Quyle chief executive officer. Quyle, who has served as president and chief operating officer since January, succeeds Becky Skillman, who will become a senior advisor for the organization.

    Monday's expansion announcement by Indianapolis-based Octiv, and with it, plans for 224 new jobs, is expected to put further pressure on central Indiana tech companies to attract and keep talented workers. But Octiv co-founder Kristian Andersen says it is also helping Indiana shed its image as an exporter of talent, stemming the tide of people leaving the state for jobs elsewhere.
