    The Natural Resources Commission has approved the creation of a new nature preserve in Steuben County. The action to create Perfect Lake Nature Preserve gives the state 289 state-designated sites protected by the Nature Preserves Act.

    The American Honda Motor Co. continues to invest in its Greensburg, Indiana plant as it has announced the factory will be producing the company’s first electrified sport utility vehicle in the U.S. The company says it will invest more than $4 million and add 34 new jobs in the plant to support production of the CR-V Hybrid.

    Colts fans will soon have upgraded WiFi capabilities at Lucas Oil Stadium following the installation of a new system in the stadium. The new "WiFi 6" system is built for dense environments and is expected to boost capacity by 300 percent. The installation is the first of its kind in the sports industry and will be activated in two stages. The new system will be active on stadium levels 100 through 500 for Sunday's home opener against the Falcons.

    Final approval has been given by the River Ridge Development Authority for the transfer of 106 acres at the River Ridge Commerce Center to the city of Charlestown. The southeast Indiana development authority had been working with Charlestown Mayor Bob Hall and a consultant to survey the acreage and define boundaries.

    The University of Notre Dame and Indianapolis-based Kite Realty Group Trust (NYSE: KRG) have broken ground on a new community center and gathering place in South Bend.  The new Robinson Community Learning Center will be built across the street from the current facility which sits just south of Notre Dame.
